History studies and lectures
Beside of maintaining and tuning accordions, I’ve concentrated my knowledge to Finnish accordion history. I’ve studied Finnish accordion manufactures history since 2010 and during the years, I’ve done many interview trips around Finland and succeeded to have information from manufacture experts who have already passed away. In autumn 2014 The Finnish Accordion History book was released. It includes exceptional much information about accordion manufacture history. I was one of the authors for this book.
I give lectures about Finnish accordion history and accordion mechanisms in private events such as accordion club meetings. If you want to get more information about Finnish accordion history, contact me. So far I’ve given lectures in Tampere University and in several cultural events.
